Test calls and demo minutes

What you use as a partner to test and demonstrate, how prospects try bhomy out, where you see usage and what to do if you can't explain some usage.

For demonstrations and tests, your partner account has its own demo minutes. A customer account, by contrast, starts with a paid plan and uses its included minutes. This page shows what applies where.

Your partner account

WhatRule
Demo minutes25 per calendar month in the free partner account, 250 with Partner Plus. Unused minutes lapse at the end of the month
More minutesminute packs at the list price, 100 minutes for €15
Concurrent calls1 in the free partner account, 1 with Partner Plus, counted as described under Concurrent calls
Used upThe demo assistants stop taking calls until the next month, unless you book a pack
Without a paying customerOnly in the free partner account: 3 months after activation or after switching from Partner Plus, the demo minutes lapse, and with the first paying customer they come back

Demo minutes are for demonstrations, tests and preparing customer projects, not for paying customers. More under Try bhomy yourself.

Let prospects try it out

A prospect tests one of your demo assistants, set up with their details, for up to 14 days. The calls use your demo minutes. If someone calls while the demo assistant is already in a call, they wait. So don't plan too many tests at the same time, and book an extra pack if you run many tests.

Customer accounts

A customer account tests in the browser and with real calls using its included minutes. How conversations and tests are billed is explained under What counts as a minute. The customer sees every call with type, duration and the part that was charged under Usage.

If you can't explain some usage

  1. Open Usage and look up the calls for the period.
  2. Check type and duration. Outbound attempts that nobody answered and long waiting times on busy lines are often only noticed on closer inspection.
  3. In Call History, check whether conversations ran on without ending, for example because of a high Max. call duration or a long Silence timeout.
  4. If anything remains unclear, send the call IDs to support@bhomy.ai. If it turns out to be a billing error, we correct it.
