Invoices and credit notes

How customers receive their invoices, how your commission account works, when we issue credit notes and which invoices you receive when reselling.

When you refer, bhomy invoices your customer and issues you a credit note for your commission. When you resell, you receive invoices for each customer account, just like a direct customer. This page explains both and the invoice for Partner Plus.

Invoices for your referral customers

Your customer pays by credit card via Stripe. They find their invoices under Billing › Manage Subscription › Invoices, and that's also where they change the billing address and VAT ID, see Subscription and billing. In your partner area, you see the date and net amount of paid invoices, refunds and chargebacks for each customer, but not the invoice itself.

Your commission account

For each commission, the commission account shows the customer's invoice with its number, the date the payment was received, the net plan fee, the rate, the amount and the status:

StatusMeaning
pendingThe holding period of 30 days from receipt of payment is running, or there's a dispute about the payment, such as a chargeback by the bank
availableThe holding period has expired, and the commission has been earned
settledIt's included in a credit note, with that note's number
paid outWe've transferred it
reversedThe payment was refunded or charged back, so the commission no longer applies

The rate depends on your level on the day the payment is received. Each commission is rounded to the nearest cent.

When we settle

StepRule
Determine the balanceat the end of each calendar month: available commissions minus open reversals
Settlefor that month if the balance is €100 or more, otherwise at the latest at the end of the calendar quarter, regardless of the amount
Issue the credit noteby day 10 of the following month
Pay outby SEPA transfer by the end of the month in which the credit note was issued. The payment reference is the number of the credit note

The credit note

We settle your commission by credit note. You don't send us an invoice. The credit note is also your invoice for your service, so keep it yourself.

  • It comes as an electronic invoice under the EN 16931 standard with a readable PDF view, by email to your billing address, and is available in the partner area.
  • It lists each commission by the underlying customer invoice, and for recruiting partners by recruited partner.
  • Reversals appear as negative items with a reference to the credit note in which the commission was settled.
  • If you're subject to standard taxation, it shows VAT, and we pay the commission plus VAT. If you apply the small business rule, it contains the notice under § 19 UStG, and we pay without VAT.

Your details

Before the first credit note, you enter your company and address, tax number or VAT ID, your tax status, your bank details and the billing address in the partner area. You must be the account holder yourself; we don't make payments to third parties. If something changes, for example because you no longer apply the small business rule, you enter it straight away with the date from which it applies. Before the next payout, we may have a new bank account confirmed through a second channel.

If details are missing, your balance is held. We remind you, and it doesn't expire.

Objections

Check every credit note. If something isn't right, click Report an objection on the credit note in the partner area or write to partner@bhomy.ai, giving your reasons in either case. We review your objection within 14 days. If it's justified, we cancel the credit note and issue a corrected one.

If you object to the credit note as such, it loses its effect as an invoice. We then pay only against your own invoice that meets the requirements of the German VAT Act.

Invoices when reselling

We bill each customer account to you as for a direct customer and collect the amounts via your payment method: the plan and recurring phone number fees at the start of each billing period, minute packs, setup and services added during the current period when they're booked, and connection and SMS costs as for a direct customer. Each invoice shows the customer account, the plan, the billing period, the list price and the purchase discount, as well as the other items at the list price. There's no credit note for this, as the discount has already been deducted.

We may offset open amounts from these invoices against the payout amount of a credit note. The credit note then shows the commission unchanged and the offset with the invoice number.

Invoice for Partner Plus

We bill Partner Plus monthly in advance, €49 per billing month plus VAT, plus €9 a month for each additional phone number. We collect the amount via your payment method, and you receive one invoice per billing month. How to switch or cancel Partner Plus is explained under Become a partner.
