Connecting Zadarma with bhomy
Pass a Zadarma number to your agent by forwarding to an external server, and make outbound calls via an extension of the Zadarma phone system.
With Zadarma, you forward calls to a SIP address, which Zadarma calls an external server. For outbound calls, bhomy logs in with the credentials of an extension of your Zadarma phone system.
Requirements
- a Zadarma account with a virtual number and the Zadarma phone system
- in bhomy, the number created under Connect SIP number, see SIP numbers
Inbound calls to the agent
- In Zadarma, open the extensions of your phone system and the settings of the extension that receives calls to your number.
- Turn on call forwarding and choose the condition, for example always or only when unanswered.
- Choose External server (SIP URI) as the forwarding destination.
- Enter your number and the Destination address from bhomy in the format
+49401234567@destination-addressand save.
Alternatively, you can forward directly to the external server in the settings of the virtual number.
Outbound calls
| Field in bhomy | Value |
|---|---|
| Number | your Zadarma number in international format |
| Termination address | pbx.zadarma.com |
| Username | the extension number from your Zadarma account |
| Password | the password of this extension |
In Zadarma, set your virtual number as the extension's number for outbound calls. Then confirm it in bhomy with Confirm for outbound calls.
Testing
- Call your Zadarma number. Your agent answers, and the status in bhomy changes to Active.
- On the Outbound tab, start a test call to your own number.
Common problems

|---|---|
| Calls don't arrive | Check the format of the SIP URI: number with a plus sign, @, then the destination address without sip: |
| Outbound calls show the wrong number | Set the extension's number for outbound calls in Zadarma |
| Outbound calls are rejected | Check the extension and password. If necessary, generate a new password for the extension in Zadarma |
