Email doesn't arrive
The email after the call is missing, lands in spam, fields are empty or the dynamic recipient gets nothing.
After every call, bhomy can send an email with a summary, transcript and captured data. Whether it was sent is shown in the call history in the Logs tab: every email is listed there with Sent or Failed and the error text.
The email doesn't arrive
| Possible cause | Solution |
|---|---|
| The email is in the spam folder | Mark it as wanted and allow the domain bhomy.ai in your spam filter |
| Typo in the recipient address | Check the address in the email tool. Separate several recipients with commas |
| The Condition wasn't met | If a condition is set, such as "The caller was promised a callback", the email only goes out if that was the case in the call. Leave the field empty if it should always be sent |
| The email tool isn't active | In the Tools tab, check under Automation whether the email is listed |
| Company filters hold back external emails | Ask your IT whether messages from bhomy.ai are delivered |
How to test it: In the email tool, click Send test email. If the test email arrives, sending works. If the email is then missing after a real call, the cause is the condition, the recipient or the course of the call.
Fields are empty or show null
| Possible cause | Solution |
|---|---|
| The value didn't come up in the call | The Context Extractor sets missing details to null. Add to the prompt that the agent asks for the value |
| The variable name in the text doesn't match | Use Insert variable instead of typing names by hand. {{Name}} and {{name}} are different variables |
| The variable isn't defined | You create your own variables in the Bhomy Context Extractor, see Data extraction |
The dynamic recipient gets nothing
With the Dynamic recipient type, the email goes to the address the caller gave during the call. If it's missing or was misunderstood, bhomy can't deliver anything. Have the agent spell out and repeat the address, and also enter a fixed address if you need a copy yourself.
The summary is missing
bhomy creates the summary after the call. If the call is very short or has no content, for example when the caller hangs up immediately, there's little to summarise. If creating it fails, a short note appears in its place and the other fields are still sent.
