Importing your own number

Make outbound calls with your familiar landline or mobile number without switching provider. Confirmation by verification call, costs and limits.

With an imported number, your agent calls from your familiar number, for example for appointment reminders, callbacks or campaigns. The number stays with your provider, and inbound calls keep arriving there. bhomy only shows it as the sender on outbound calls.

  2. Enter your number in international format, such as +49401234567. Optional: a Name and an Agent.
  3. Click Next. The number appears in the list with Confirmation pending.
  4. Click Call me now. Our telephony provider Telnyx calls your number and reads out a code.
  5. Answer, note down the code and enter it under Code from the call.
  6. Click Confirm. From now on, your agent can call from the number.

The verification call makes sure that nobody uses someone else's number as the sender. The dashboard shows how many verification calls are still possible today. If you enter a wrong code, it shows the remaining attempts.
