Upload Process
- Navigate to your agent's Knowledge Base tab.
- Click "Upload Document" or drag and drop files into the upload area.
- Wait for processing to complete.
Processing Pipeline
After uploading, documents go through several stages:
- Uploading — File is being transferred to our servers.
- Processing — Text is extracted and cleaned.
- Indexing — Content is split into chunks and indexed for semantic search.
- Ready — The document is now available for your agent to use.
Document Management
From the Knowledge Base tab you can:
- View all uploaded documents and their status
- Preview extracted content
- Delete documents you no longer need
- Re-process documents if needed
💡 Tip
Clean, well-formatted documents produce better results. Remove headers, footers, page numbers, and irrelevant boilerplate before uploading. The cleaner your source material, the more accurate your agent's answers will be.
Best Practices
- Use clear headings and sections in your documents.
- Keep information up to date — outdated docs lead to wrong answers.
- Split very large documents into focused, topic-specific files.
- Include common phrasings and synonyms for better retrieval.
